Original short stories and poems are sought from Phelps Luck students in grades 2-5 for the 2017 Young Authors’ Contest.  The contest is sponsored by the Howard County Reading Council.  High quality winning entries from each grade will move on to the county level competition.  The deadline for the submission of typed entries is Wednesday, December 21, 2016.  Call or email any classroom teacher or reading specialist Tracy Jones at tracy_jones@hcpss.org if you need clarification or have questions.  Teachers also have contest announcements and the cover sheets that must accompany each entry.
