It is with great pride that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Phelps Luck Elementary School. As you may know, I was the Assistant Principal at Phelps Luck from 2005-2010 and I am thrilled to be returning! I have worked in the Howard County Public School System for 20 years, 10 of which have been as an administrator. I am excited to bring my skills as an educational leader to Phelps Luck and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s academic success.
Along with staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Phelps Luck by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners. I feel very lucky to be following Sean Martin as the principal of Phelps Luck Elementary. He took a great deal of pride in everything he did as is evident in the many conversations that we have had. Mr. Martin and I will continue to work together so that my transition is smooth. I know it will be successfull school year! As Principal, I welcome your input and if at any time you have concerns, suggestions, or ideas, please feel free to share them with me.
