Title I Events - PLES

We will address high frequency words as it connects to our SIP of learning to read by grade 3. Participants will focus on learning strategies to support irregular high frequency words, as these often present a challenge for decoding.

This session will support basic fact addition & subtraction. Parents and students will explore the use of triangle fact cards and a deck of cards as tools for learning. We will focus on the components and progression of fact fluency with a focus on Phase 1 facts including, +/- 0, 1 & 2, adding 10 and doubles.
