From the Principal. . .
Dear Phelps Luck Families,
Last week, our PTA began a new fundraising program called “Clothing to Cash Recycling Program”.  A white collection bin was placed in our school parking lot.  Please consider donating clothing, footwear, bedding, and/or toys to the bin.  The PTA will be paid for every pound we collect!  There is a detailed flier in your child’s Thursday folder that shares specific details.  All funds will help support our school and PTA programs.  Thank you for any donations you can provide!

Sincerely,
Michelle M. Leader
Principal

Training for Parent Volunteers
In order to create a consistent process for training parent volunteers on issues of confidentiality, HCPSS has developed 2 brief training modules and certificate of completion.  Both the modules and certificate are located at:
http://www.hcpss.org/parent/volunteer-information
www.hcpss.org/f/employees/childabuse_ppt.pdf
www.hcpss.org/f/parents/parent-volunteer-confidentiality-certificate.pdf
Once you have completed the training, please submit your certificate of completion to the front office before registering as a volunteer.  Parents must also do this in order to chaperone field trips.  Thank you for your assistance!
