Due to the amount of rain today and the extreme muddiness of the fields, we will have our annual PLES Turkey Trot on Tuesday, November 24th.
4th Grade: 9:00-9:30a.m.
5th Grade: 9:30-10:00a.m.
3rd Grade: 10:00-10:30a.m.
The Turkey Trot is a one-mile “fun-run” that consists of running two laps around the perimeter of the school. In order to ensure that your child has a safe and successful experience they must wear correct footwear (tennis shoes/sneakers) and comfortable athletic clothing.
We would love for parents/guardians to run the mile with their son or daughter. If you can help but don’t want to run, come out and line the course to cheer your child on. Please be aware that the parking lot and bus loop will be closed while students run the Turkey Trot. Please use the surrounding streets to park.
