From the Principal. . .
Dear Parents,
As you know, tomorrow is the end of the second quarter. Information was sent out earlier this week about signing up for a February conference with your child’s teacher. Please call the school if you need any assistance with scheduling a conference. We would like to conference with every parent to continue to partner together for your child’s success!
We have some exciting events coming up during the third quarter! On Thursday, February 11th Phelps Luck will have our first Family FIT Night! This exciting event is an opportunity for you and your children to learn about fun ways to stay healthy and get fit! We will have stations featuring karate, zumba, yoga, ideas for eating well, and even a dance party finale! This event will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. So round up the whole family, and join us for an evening of fitness fun! I will see you there!
Sincerely,
Michelle M. Leader

Training for Parent Volunteers
In order to create a consistent process for training parent volunteers on issues of confidentiality, HCPSS has developed a brief training module and certificate of completion. Both the module and certificate are located at www.hcpss.org or by going to the Phelps Luck website at ples.hcpss.org. Once you have completed the training, please submit your certificate of completion to the front office before registering as a volunteer. Parents must also do this in order to chaperone field trips. Thank you for your assistance!
IMPORTANT REMINDER
If you have moved or plan on moving, please notify the office of your new address. You will need to bring your new lease/deed and a current utility bill to the office in order for you to receive mailing and for your child’s record to be changed.
