Our first PLES PTA 5K/1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015.  Please join us for this community event and get to know more of our PLES families!  Attached is the registration and volunteer information.  You can find more information HERE!  We hope to see you there!

 

 

 

• Race Day is Saturday September 26, 2015.  The 5K starts at 8:30am; the 1-mile run/walk starts at 8:45am.
• All children under the age of 18 must register AND be accompanied by an adult.
• Packet pick-up will be Friday September 25, 2015 from 5:30pm until 7:00pm in the Phelps Luck Elementary School gymnasium.
• Packet pick-up will also be Saturday September 26, 2015 from 7:00am until 8:00am.
• The start and finish line will be in Phelps Luck Elementary School bus loop.  5370 Old Stone Ct. Columbia, MD 20145.
• The 5K starting time will be 8:30am and the course will mainly use High Tor Hill, side roads, pathways, and Phelps Luck Drive.
• The 1-mile run/walk starting time will be 8:45am and the course will mainly use High Tor Hill, side roads, and pathways.
• Please arrive early as parking will be limited to the guest parking lot only.  Carpooling, walking, and biking to the event is recommended.
• Please make sure you read and sign the waiver.
• Select a size for your included t-shirt.  Extra t-shirts may be purchased for $8.00.
• What to remember: hydrate, wear sunscreen, dress appropriately including running shoes, have fun!
• What NOT to bring: skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, animals, headphones.
• **Baby joggers/strollers are allowed for the 1-mile walk but NOT for the 5K run.
• Light refreshments will be available to participants at the finish line.
